Is 200$ hundred bucks a week good pay?

i work under the table at a tabacco lounge and they pay me 25 bucks a day for six days, and from (4 to 10pm) a week plus tips...Is this a good pay for me? im trying to buy a car soon and an apartment and I have 150 in my bank account already..tell me, am I going in a good rate??? I really want to progress. Im a student...plus i have to start school soon...

That's horrible pay. At that rate, you'll end up owing money before you actually have enough to buy a car. $200 is hardly enough to buy one school textbook, let alone save up to get a car. Do yourself a favor and get a better job, $25 bucks a day isn't worth six hours of work.

It's not a great amount but it is better than nothing.  Do you have any other options?  I'd keep what I had but look for something better.  It's always less pressure to find a job if you are currently working on one.

You're getting like $4.16 an hour. That really sucks. Even after tips, that really sucks. Minimum wage is... actually I don't know what minimum wage is, but it's somewhere around 7 or 8 bucks.

Since you're a student, maybe you should see if you qualify for work study and get an on-campus job. That way you'll make at least minimum wage and you still won't get taxed for it.

nope that is not good pay at all since you are tryna buy a car and get an apt. i make $12 n hour and work 30hours a week and im barely making it, i dont even have a carnote!

So you work for 6 hours and you only get 25 a day? You're making 4.16 an hour and Im pretty sure thats illegal seeing as here minimum wage is almost 10$

6 hours a day X 6 days a week = 36 hours

$25 per day X 6 days a week = $150

$150/36 hours = $4.17 per hour.

h**l no that isn't good pay. That isn't even bad pay. lol. Your making a little over half of what they should be paying you if they were paying you minimum wage. good luck

No, that's not good pay.  But, you're working under the table and not paying taxes, so it's not like you can complain about it, what you're doing is illegal.  

Get a job ON the table, you'll pay taxes but still end up bringing home a bigger paycheck.
