  1. 15,000  miles is d**n good, the cars like new and 2005..nice...only problem i have against the pony is the poor handling but otherwise h**l yeah...make sure u do a vehicle history report via the vin number...i have a 2001 srt4 with 91,000 miles and had no problems at all since i got it in 2003 except the battery of course

  2. they are good cars and have had only 1 recall (passenger side airbag sensor) through the whole production line.

the transmission in them is a 5R55 and is NON servicable by anyone EXCEPT the dealership. you can't even check the fluid level!!

it should last you to the 200,000 mile mark if you give it synthetics and have the trans serviced every 50,000 miles, same with rear end. engine is 3,000 miles just like every other car.

my mother owns a 05 and has well over 120K on it so far. we have just done regular maintenance (trans/oil/rear fluids, fuel filter, ect) and it still runs like a top! we also got the K&N filter when it was brand new so that filter is still good as well!!

she drives 80 miles to dallas for work everyday, so you figure its gotten its fair share of city/ highway miles so its about the average "beating" for a car.

i would go for it , i have heard nothing bad about them!

  3. good car+ poor mpg+ deep pockets-

  4.    American Rear wheel Drive is possibly more reliable technology than any front wheel drive.  V6 engines balance better than four bangers.  Furthermore the mustang is a tough design.  The frame is the same on the V8 or the V6.  These cars handle wonderfully on dry pavement.  I want one too.  But I bought an old Mercedes Diesel with 63 horses under the hood in order to get out from under the filthy Oil companies greasy thumbs.  Of course now I will have to modify this turtle and collect used cooking oil to run for free.  But Im telling you a good economic and environmental choice may make you feel better about yourself than every red blooded males dream car.  I would love the mustang.   Gas Cars fill up and sadly drain the wallet.  Note this is also a much more affordable purchase than the mustang. Converted and Ready  $7000. Very low emissions.
