  1. No you're going to injure yourself badly. You can gooff and ignore what I say but I just hope you have some sence. You can buy a used 250cc or Ninja ex500. Trust me they might be ugly but not as ugly as Road Rash plus major accident. Just start off small and you'll live your whole life happy bro. if you want you can even go for a Suzuki Sv650s. They're good starter bikes and they look great.

  2. If you really want a sport bike yes.  But you must be responsible because it is still VERY fast!!! If you have never ridden anything before take a class or buy a Honda rebel it is a 250 cruiser then trade it in later.

  3. By beginner do you mean you have ridden dirtbikes or other 2 wheeled vehicles with motors? OR  If you have never driven a motorcycle or dirtbike before And want a yamaha I would start with the FZ6.  The R6 will easily do 155mph out of the box and as a beginner you can get to cocky after a few rides and end up being scraped off the road.

  4. Ok well to be straight with ya, its not as race designed as the 'R' model, but for a beginner, it is an excellent bike, thats what i taught my wife (5'7" 102lbs.)to ride on. They are not a very threatening motorcycle even from the start. Its like the F4i in the aspect of building rider confidience fairly fresh into riding it. Good luck and remember its all in throttle control, only goes as fast as YOU want it to go.

R6s tops out speed wise about 167 actual speed, nevermind speedo at that point its slowely mis-reads after bout 105 mph... R6r is a bit faster stock for stock, FZ6 is nothing more than a naked R6 thats been detuned and re geared.
