Is 2009 going to effect radios as well as tvs?

In 2009, when they switch to HD tv, does that effect radio as well. Because I have a really old truck with a really old radio, and will be very depressed if it will no longer work.

Nothing to worry. Radio is not affected.

only if your old truck has a radio receiver that picks up TV audio. Some do, and if you have one, then it will stop working too.

Radio signals are already HD. However, HD radio is backwards compatable so you dont need to buy a new radio (or truck, ha!).
