I am NOT a light traveller, i take everything but the kitchen sink with me when i go on holiday. When i booked my holiday, they said we could only take 15kg of luggage but I was able to buy another 5kg of luggage allowance, but im still not sure if that is going to be enough :S

Also, i have found a large suitcase that i would like to buy, but that itself is 4.5kg :S

  1. It should be quite enough, especially if you look around for a lighter bag.  Consider something like a duffel bag that will weigh almost nothing.   Eliminate as much as possible - many items we are accustomed to packing are not necessary.  For example, check to see if the hotel has hair dryers in the rooms and that may eliminate one thing.  Enjoy your vacation.

  2. Yes, it should be. I have 15kg for two weeks :|. Consider yourself lucky. Just pack 7 day outfits and 7 night outfits. Pick your favourites, and a few pairs of shoes, bikinis and stuff. Things you need. Also, weigh your suitcase when you are done on some scales. Thats what we do. Then you can be sure. If you have gone over, rethink what you could leave behind. If you have some kg's left, pick some things that you wanted to take and weigh it again.

  3. 10 kg would be enough for me. Here is a tip for you. Why not buy clothes there?

  4. It is hot, take less things, wash and let it dry in your room.  You are on holiday, relax, who cares if you don't have different clothes for breakfast, lunch and dinner?!

Don't take toothpastes and other toiletries, buy them there.  It is europe after all, surely you can buy those sort of things there.

  5. your answer is inevitably obvious.

    take less belongings.

if you're very materialistic or obsessed with clothes i recommend you stop being like this. just presuming.
