  1. 1st:  If you are being paid by the hour it is a wage and not a salary.

2nd: No it is not a good wage for that degree. I make more per hour and I do not have a bachelor's degree at all.

  2. ARE U EMPLOEE OR EMPLOYER?THAT,S THE QUESTION MY POOR FRIEND!

  3. Darwin,

If you take that figure and calculate it out, that is 43,680 per year.  Salaries completely depend on the geographical location you are in, the type of company you are working for (example: Big pharma versus chemical start-up).  Overall, that salary is fine, but I believe Monster.com has information on the average salary ranges for various positions in most geoprahical locations.

  4. Hey there!

It depends on a lot of factors like what type of company you are working for and how much experience you have.  Also, what types of benefits are being offered?  If you are a recent grad, that is probably a decent wage.

The American Chemical Society publishes chemical censuses every five years and the latest one was released in 2005.  Here is a link:

    http://portal.acs.org/portal/fileFetch/C...

If you look on page 28, you will see that with 2-4 years experience and a Bachelor's degree, the average salary was about $42,000.

There's tons of useful and interesting information in the census, too!
