  1. No, but if you ever make it to a pro circuit everyone else will have at least a 7 year head start on you.  The longer you wait the less likely you are to make it.   I put off fighting competitively for too long, and now I'm 25 and the only experience I have is that I'm pretty good on the bags (Heavy, Speed, Reflex)!  Good Luck!!

  2. No, it's not.  I'm taking a kickboxing class, and the man that instructs it is a master Kickboxer, and a master in Karate.. and he started later than that.  He was in the ARmy first, and when he got out of the army, he persued Kickboxing and martial arts.  Now he teaches both, Won the German national championships several times, and is very happy and healthy.

    go for it. :)

  3. absolutely not, people box for years and years, people stay in the gam until their fifty or sixty. it's good to train before 21 , but any age is okay in the boxing world.

  4. nope , not at all ..

  5. No your just a baby but you can,t take any short cuts find a really good trainer and tell him what your goals are and show him you are willing to pay the price to be a champion and he will work with you . No trainer likes to work with a guy that does not have his heart in it. Good luck.

  6. I have friends that didn't go professional until 25

  7. No its not, but depending on the person i think it takes at least 3 years of really good training if you want to make it anywhere.
