Is 22 too old for a navel piercing?

I've been working hard and losing weight and I've always wanted to get my navel pierced, but never had the body for it until now.

I'm curious if anyone thinks 22 is too old for it. Any thoughts?

I kind of think it is I think that once youre 20 you should take yours out, its kind of tacky, but congratulations on the weight loss!

Nope, you're still young! I think the cutoff age is late 30s/40, depending on how good your body is.

I think 22 is a good age to get it.  Your body and brain is finally finished growing, so you're more likely to make a rational decision about it and it's less likely to migrate.

yes I think that when you hit 21 you should not wear them any longer.

it is just a fad that people are going though and it looks tacky on a 22 year old as apposed to a 21 year old.

nah...its not too old...I am 23 almost 24 and I have my button pierced!!

I think that if you feel comfortable and want one you can have one!!!

I've just read a magazine with a sixty-eight year old woman in a bikini and she looked as fierce as a twenty year old.

So I don't think your young age is going to determine whether you should get a piercing. Go for it!
