  1. I do not live in a Democracy, and neither do you. We live in a --say it with me --Representative Republic.  That is a system where mass participation is not the be all end all.

And a system where the People are keep from just voting 50.01% for anything and everything that they want.

You see if you would read --that is read the original writings of these men and not the propaganda written about them for PC hour--these guys named Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Benjamin Franklin, you would know these things.

And I am sure that they know more than the teachers that work at your 'school' or as I like to call them "supper costly ineffective indoctrination centers that  act as day care for lazy dense citizens that have even denser kids!"

  2. What do I think?  I think it's a waste of time.  March Madness is already doing this.  They're surfing the internet instead of working.  How is taking the day off going to save our country?  That's what screwed it in the first place.  Congress fell asleep at the wheel and handed over the war to the Executive Branch.  They're not protecting the Constitution.  How about we spend 24 hours researching and supporting (financially and verbally) candidates who actually give a ****?

Could we possibly take back our country?  Not by that guy's suggestion.

  3. Everybody must take time to defend democracy even if for some minutes only.  It is the ultimate expression for the love of country.
