  1. I got a used board for $100.00 and 6' is pretty short for learning. I would try friends boards first. 8' can be fun and allot easier.

  2. yes too cheap and no its not goign to be v good for you to learn on. its going to proably b too small and you will not enjoy it as much. go and get a surf lesson though. even one lesson will help you so much as long as it is from a reputable, licenced surf school using qualified licensed coaches - good luck

  3. It seems a little too cheap, even for a foam board.  Make sure its in good condition first.  And 6 foot is definetly too small to learn on.  I would recomend getting what is called a funboard, somewhere between a short board and a long board.  Its still maneuverable but it has good enough balance.  So unless you are rather small, opt out of the 6' and go for something like a 7'6'', it will jut work a lot better.  I made the same mistake when i was learning, but now i have a 7'6" board and its great.  Its not about the length of the board, just the fun

  4. yes that is cheap but i am guessing there are several days left on the auction.

foam boards are alright just try it out since its not that expensive, see if u like it then upgrade!
