  1. they dont lose it they just get shiter lol look at the best player in the world they play on tell there in there 30's lol so they just say it lol

  2. In tennis, 20 is considered young, 25 is "middle-aged," and 30 is old. Being above 30 is ancient. Tennis is an extremely physically wearing sport on the body so tennis players' careers aren't as long as those of players of other sports.

Edit: If people don't consider him old, why do people think Federer's time for breaking Sampras' record is running out?

  3. The answer is NO.

Roger Federer will be 27 on August 8. I don't think there are very many people who would consider him too old to be a professional tennis player.

  4. Personally I dont think 25 is an old age for tennis. Some do shine even past their 30s but there could be a lot of reasons why they don't do well near their 30s.

    - They start very young and are at their strongest at ages 18 - 23. So it may be difficult for older player to keep up with the strength of the younger ones.

    - If they've been playing for 10 years already, they may have overdone themselves or reached some sort of a saturation/exhaustion point.

    - Lack of interested especially if they have achieved their professional goals. Some continue to play for just the love of the game.

  5. everyone is different. I don't think 25 is too old at all.

  6. well if you think about it nadal is about 25 years and he is a pro, you need to get noticed go to tennis courts were people watch you, and make sure your in awsome shape

  7. no way, i'd say an old age to play is about the 30's

  8. No. Federer is 26 and look how good he is.......he won wimbledon last year at 25.

  9. 25 is young

  10. At 25 is usually is the peak of players.

They aren't old but they r close to 30.

But for Rafa, since he has accomplished so much at a young age, he will be at his peak earlier.

  11. no i think if you practice hard any age should be a proffesional tennis player.

  12. because they are very rich already

  13. Any number of reasons could answer your question. Each player is different. Some continue on, and others just get bored of the sport.

However 25 is not too old for any professional sport, pending the athlete has the talent and dedication to the sport.
