Is $250.00 enough?????

Question

I was offered a nanny position and the mom only offered me $250.00 to watch 2 kids Monday thru Thursday 8:30 till 4:30. The kids are 6 and 2 1/2 and are very well behaved. Should I ask for more I dont want to be sold for cheap? And if so how should I ask I dont want to be rude??

Dude, you should be luck yy ou were offered such a nice job! You could be doing plenty of worse things so why don't you take the $250 and settle. That is plenty especialy if the kids are well behaved!

I watch two children ( 3 & 4 years old) For 6 hours a day- 5 days a week I get $250 a week.. I'm watching them only 30 hours, you would be watching them 32 hours, if they are well behaved.. that sounds like good pay, if you are worried you are taken advantage of.. Ask for $300.
