  1. not bad, the girls at my school run 18 mins-25 mins

if you start doing cross country go for 25 mins and 22 or 21 mins by the end of the season I think you have the potentional to run that, and if your not a long distance runner then this will get you in some good shape for track.

    good luck

  2. That is about a nine minute mile. I looked up the Army PT scores, for women 17-21, and you are on par with them. To get a perfect run score, you would need approx 7:15 per mile run time. You are at approx 71 percent, a score of 60 is passing which is a little less than 9:30 per mile.

For your first run, you are doing good, and I am sure you will only improve.

  3. 5K is 3.1 miles, so you're averaging about a 9 minute mile.  For being a junior high student, untrained in distance running, that is very good.  As a 13 year old male, I couldn't even run three miles straight, by my senior year I could run a 5K in 19 minutes.  I am rather stocky and my running was more supplemental training for football, wrestling, martial arts, and possibly a military career.  I never competed, but I would say if running is your sport, you'll be able to run at a 5:45/mi pace or run a 16-17 minute 5K by time you are a sophomore or junior.

  4. it's good for a beginner, but when i was 12 i had a kinda bad achilles tendon and i ran a 20 min. 5k

  5. It's okay, if your a boy that's pretty bad if you are a girl it's not bad.  If you are competing that's pretty bad.  I am a girl and got 20:33 and beat the school record.  I was pretty proud.

  6. its o.k. i can run it faster.. but i'd say its o.k.

  7. That is average.  It is around a 9 minute mile as well.  It is not top of the notch, but not terrible.  Keep working and hopefully you can bring it down some.  Shoot for a 25 next time you run!  Good luck, and keep practicing!  =)
