Is 28k for a 22yr old good?

I have 3 kids and a spouse that i support, is 28k good? also is working in real estate part time worth it?

  1. I made more than that in 1989 as a secretary.  You cannot live and raise a family on that amount.  Spouse should be working and contributing to living expenses


  2. I would say it will be hard to make ends meet on that salary alone. But if you want to know if it's competitive, check salary.com to find out.

    But yeah, like I said, that will be hard to pay the bills (and gas) with.

  3. What is your quality of life right now? I make almost that & I barely have enough to support myself! I don't know how you are making it supporting all you are. But if you are happy with that amount of money and are able to pay all your bills and you have everything you want and can put money in savings and not borrow from family or friends then it is good. BUT if you want more then you should get a full time job and get your spouse to get a job. Those kids are going to need lots growing up and you need to put money away for their college. Think about it!
