  1. Well, there's young, middle and old. So Young: 0-29, middle: 30-59 and old: 60-90 and that's supposing the life expectancy is around 90 which is lower in fact so middle age is more around 26 but many at 26 may not consider middle age although some will. 30 is definitely middle age though ahah old men territory j/k

  4. well, mid-aged can mean two very different things cant it?  Firstly it can mean half way through your life, or it can mean when your no longer young/young'ish (yikes!). I think the latter description is more important to us nearly 30's! Nearly 30 is a wierd age, because look back and you've got your teens less than 10 yrs ago, but look forward and a'little over ten yrs, your 40!! Nothing wrong with being 40, but its hard to adjust to that image when your 29.

    So, dividing your grandparents ages doesnt help at all.   I think, some people stay young, fit and healthy all the way up to 40, and then they will grandually, over the course of the next decade, slip into being and feeling mid-aged.  

    What science is saying at the moment is that mid-age can be put off by a full 12 yrs (on average) by good anarobic exercise routines.  more blood going around the body, that will help keep things stimulated growing and ticking over.

    I would say mid-age starts at 40-50 and ends at around 60-70, depending on the person. I think if you keep healthy, you could be in the upper bracet.
