  1. This is a bit high.  What school are you looking at?  Does it have national or regional accreditation?  If it's only national then you should run away from it.

If it is a school with regional and it's a program you are passionate about then possibly not.

  2. $30,000?! Are you kidding me?! I would have walked right out! Yes, that's way too much for a 2 year degree. You can get an associates degree for much less and then go on to a 4 year to get your bachelors. You'll probably want that in order to get a better job anyway.

  3. Yes.  Most community colleges are less than 1,500 a semester.  Thats 3,000 a year for two years.  Total of 6,000!!

  4. Depends on where your going. If your going to a community college it will cost lest then a University.

  5. Usually an Associate Degree is much, much cheaper than a Bachelor's. And unless you are going to some super fancy two year college, and into a professional program I would say yes, 30 grand is way too much.

For 15 grand a semester, they better give you free food and books! Plus a lot more!

The two year school in my area is a little less than 4 grand a semester for full time students. So total cost for an Associate Degree where I live is about 16,000.00$$.
