Question:

Is 34DD too small for breast reduction?

I am 20 years old with a small frame (with the exception of my bust) and I've always been self conscious about by chest. I am seriously considering having reduction, but am I too young or too small to be a serious candidate?

  1. Generally you need to be over the age of 25 to consider a breast reduction but there are sometimes when doctors highly recommend it at any age, depending upon the circumstances. Talk with your doctor about it to see if it would be an option.

  2. My mom was a 34DD and now she's a flat 34B, so no you are not too small. However, i do feel that you are not old enough yet. I do believe that you have to be at least 25 seeing as this is for sure the time you have stopped developing everywhere in your body, and your body is mature enough for such enhancing/modifying surgery.

Funny how you can get implants at 18, but have to wait until you're 25 to be 'cut down' eh?

  3. NO! Don't do it

  4. I don't necessarily think you are too young, but a lot of doctors might.  But about whether you are too small or not, well, they are your b*****s.  You can do whatever you want to them.  If you feel self-conscious and would prefer to get them reduced, that is your choice.

  5. There really isn't a "too small", there is only a "how picky can the insurance company be".  Ins co's usually have a minimum amount to reduce you to and that's the minimum amount needed for it to be covered by your ins co.

Mine asked for 600 grams total, and I had over 2000 grams taken out.

If you have back pain, look into it.  You are not "too small".

IMO anyone a DD and larger should get an automatic approval.

BTW you are also not "too young" to have one.  PS's operate on 14 year olds due to their large b*****s.

  6. I think so. Men love b***s I would wait I'm 20 too. I think maybe 25-30yrs old.
