  1. Yeah you could live nicely on that...its not 50k a year but its still good.

  2. For me that is great......I am a school bus driver and make 13,000!

If it pays your bills....then you are alright, if it doesn't....hmmmm

What matters the most is finding a job that you enjoy,  money is second........of course that is just an opinion!

  3. If you're working 10 hours a week its pretty good.  If you are putting in the full 40 hours a week . . . I'd suggest it is on the lower end . . . however . . . depends on WHAT you are doing ~ what industry and what job

  4. It depends upon the job and what part of the country you live in.

  5. I have never seen so many answers to a question that is missing such a key pice of information, $38,000 a year is a good salary for cleaning toilets but its an awful salary if you are an investment banker. Why don't you finish the question and then we can tell you if its a good salary.

  6. depends on where you live, and what type of work it involves, your age and your responsabilitys, i personaly would get out of bed for it myself

  7. its a good salary for a single dude

or a guy and a girl

  8. if you are supporting a family, no

if you are living alone, it's not too good but not awful

  9. Depends on which profession it is for - for a surgeon - no ;)

I'll link you to a salary estimator.

  10. not bad,  how much your bills

  11. If entry-level, yes.

  12. Middle Class if you have a wife who earns about the same =).

  13. It depends on where you live. In Louisiana it is pretty decent

  14. It's on the lower end.

  15. descent but not great

  16. it depends where u live and the cost of liveing there

  17. no, not really. but it really depends where u live. if u live in a poor, or slightly poor area, its fine. if u live where i live, ur in poverty

  18. It depends. That sounds alright for a starting salary.

You should be getting more if you are more educated than just standard undergrad.

It really depends on your education level, job you are doing, and possibilities for growth.

But for a fresh out of college, or simply high school grad, that's pretty good. Not bragable but standard.

  19. For many professions and parts of the country, it's fine. Specifically, if you're just a high school grad or GED, it's pretty good, and in many small towns that would be average/above-average even. Cost of living is different all over the place. In any case don't let people online who don't know details tell you too much.

  20. I guess it depends on where you live.   Where I'm at it wouldn't be too bad as we have a low cost of living.
