  1. If you're new to running, that's not bad at all.  My first-ever 400 was 1:26.  I got down to 1:10, which still isn't great but is more competitive.

I don't know so much about the 200.... I think you want to be in the lower 30s.  It's a tough race.

    Keep practicing :)

  2. for the 200m you're getting there. like the other person said, you want to aim for the low thirties. as for your 400m, the more you practice the more your time will down, dont worry about it all to much now. if you focus on your form and on running the curve the right way it will ulitmatly reflect in your time.

  3. I'm being honest: it's not so great. Sorry if I sound a bit harsh or anything, but the average 14 year old would probably get less than 30 seconds for the 200m. The 400m is ok I guess, but you should aim for at least 1 min 15 seconds. But I have to say, your times aren't really that bad for someone who just started running last week. I would really aim to run a lot faster if you want to run at track meets. =)

  4. It's alright. It's not good enough to place in most track meets, but it's not too bad.

  5. no offence but yeah that is pretty bad.. got to do a lot of improving
