Is 'Rock Band' still worth getting?

Here in Australia, it's said that we should buy rock band on ebay for the cheaper deal, but is it worth it with the recent reports of rock band 2 and gh4 coming out soon? Also if you know when they are coming to Australia (ps3 preferably), im all ears, thanks :D

i wuold not buy rockband because here in the us theres been many reports about the drums not working. i tried them myself and you have to hit the drums really hard to make them work. also gh4 when it comes out is selling a special edition drum set that has drums and symbols to make look more realistic and challenging. i have no idea when it comes out though.

I would wait until the new ones come out. Rock Band is overrated anyway.

I would wait till gh4 since it will be better, but if you would like rockband then i would wait till the second one comes out, unless there is an issue with money, then i would just buy the first one now cheap, and just buy the disc when the second one comes out.

I'd say it is worth it. It is fun to play with a partner. What i dont know is when theyr'e coming to Australia sorry :(

I would get it! There are alot of good songs on it!

But if you were just going to get one game i would wait for Rockband 2 or GH4.

no it is one of the best games ive ever played but there about to come put with guitar hero world tour

its cheaper

has more songs

and has the drums guitar and microphone

no i recomend waiting until guitar hero world tour comes out for the ps3 and its is still to be announced for Australia

I'm not too sure about when they're coming to Australia, but I think waiting for Rock Band 2 would be a smart idea. The instruments are all going to be improved with quiter drums, a more realistic guitar, and a lot of great online action.

Rock Band 1 for Wii and Playstation 2 isnt that great because it lacks the band customization feature, which is one of my favorite parts. However, it's still amazing, especially on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Either way, I think it's worth the wait because once Rock band 2 comes out, the first rock band will definetaly get MUCH cheaper, so you might not have to resort to ebay and run the risk of getting defective parts.

So by waiting, you'll be getting a better bargain no matter which you choose to buy. :D

Hm - I honestly LOVE the game. I'm not sure if the peripherals will change for rock band 2, but if they don't - you should buy rock band now and then just buy the cd when the 2nd version comes out.
