Is 'The Sims Life Stories' worth buying?

I am thinking about buying The sims life stories. Do you think it is worth buying or is it just a waste of money?

I frankly prefer the sims 2 itself cause sims life stories is based on following a story while sims 2 you get to custimize your own stories and make their perfect lives imperfect, and fix it yourself. Its the thrill of endless possibilities that made that game fun.

Sims 2 lift stories is "not a waste of money" but its more of a "there are better things out there other than that worth exploring"
