Is 'accounting' a hard course in university?

As a grade twelve student heading towards university, what difficulties would one encounter if they took accounting in uni?

I know people who did it in their sleep.  I hated it with a passion.  It really depends on your skill and interest.  There is a lot of homework, which if you find accounting easy should not be a problem.  However, it is generally a logical thought system (I didn't think so but...) and many enjoy it.  Get a study guide for accounting and see if you like it.
