How do I improve this, it really bugs me. I have an HD tv and HD programming but I still see those little whatchamacallits when there's fast action. I'm currently using component, should I switch to an hdmi cable, and what else may I need?

Thank you

  1. No, those are one of two things:

    1. Compression artifacts introduced when the video stream is encoded.

    2. Degradation of signal to the point where errors can't be corrected.

Neither of them is going to be affected by what tuner->monitor cable you are using, but if the cause is #2, a higher-gain or better-aligned antenna will help.
