Is 3x Olympic rowing champion Vyacheslav Ivanov famous in Russia?

I am a rowing buff. I am curious about wether or not Ivanov is an icon of Russian sports.

I had posed this early, but I judging by the response, I think this might be a better catagory.

Honest answer - no. Because the Rowing sport is not popular in Russia. Ice Hockey and Soccer are #1 and 2. Rowing sport is possibly in the third 10s by popularity. It sounds like fun though.
