Is 4'11 short for a 13 year old?

I'm only 4'11 and I'm 13 is that really short? All of my friends are at least 5'0, it makes me so annoyed that I'm only going to be 5'2 when I'm an adult. Also at what height are considered to have a handicap because my sister's friend is under 5'0 and she's 20 so she is considered to have a handicap.

i'm 4'10 1|2 & i'm going to be 15 in december . i haven't grown since 5th grade lol . it's okay cuz short people are the best haha :P

You're nowhere close to being done growing. You'll have another spurt.

And anyway, I work with a 19-year-old who is 5' and totally stopped growing. She's fine with it! If anything, she embraces it and is always joking about it. So don't worry!

no that is not short i know people that are 13 and 14 and are like 4'10 and 4'9 so no your not short. besides i am 4' 11" and in 8th grade so no ur not short. beside short people rock!!!

Yep that's short but don't feel bad, you will hit one more growth spurt around 14 1/2 --- 15 1/2. I'm 14 and 5'5 1/2 and I hit only one spurt and that was when I was 11 1/2 but unlike you my guessed height is 5'8. You would fit in well in my class only 2 girls( Me and a good friend) are over 5'3 and only 5 boys are over 5'4.  

You are only considered a "little person" if you are under 4'10 and over 18, so you are not one.

But don't worry 3 of my friends are shorter than you and they are older too!

1. 4'8 (she thinks she is 4'11, but I know other wise)

2. 4'9 (He HATES being teased about it)

3. 4'10( She loves being small)

If your friends pester you about being small tell them that when your old you will look younger.

Yes, that is short, but have you hit a growth spurt yet? My mom is only 5'2, she is 40. I'm 13 and 5'5. It just depends on your genes really, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

It is short and that is the height that I was matter of fact I'm 14 now and I'm only 5'0. So I mean it is short but, you just do you, I feel short all the time especially now that I'm in high school, but I cope and I actually like it I take it as an advantage so what I'm only gonna be like 5'1 5'2 when I grow up, I think its cool and makes you different than all the average height-ed people. nobody in my family pass 5'5 and if they do it was by luck or they inherited that from somewhere else, my mother is 5'2 my grandmother is 5'3 and my great-grandmother is 5'1 or 5'2 so I mean it runs in my family and seems as though it runs in yours, maybe you will grow though your father is tall you might make it to average height. Sorry this is such a long response.

Yea, that is kind of short. It really doesn't matter if you're short for a girl. My brother hit five feet when he came to high school, and now he's 5'5". Although you may just be short for the rest of your life, which isn't that bad. You get to make cute guys get stuff off of high shelves for you :)))
