Hey, im 17, weigh about 180 and im a senior in high school. I'm currently in the pre-season for football. Its just lifting and stuff. We had our 40 yard dash timeing today and we got two tries. On my second try i ran a 4.49 and beat our school record which was held by an all state running back who had a 4.50. This is my first year playing since my freshmen year and i was wondering if a 4.49 is really good or just good or w/e.

  1. it is really good

y didnt u play ur sofmore or junior year ??

if u did u might have been getting scouted by colleges

and was it electronicly timed by like a laser thing

    or a coachs stop watch

  2. Don't flatter yourself you beat a record so obviously it is fast maybe your just modest. Yes that is quick real quick you have a gift don't let it go to waist. Work on you endurance and stamina alot of fast runners don't have that like running longer distances 1mile 3mile. Stand out be a cut above be a fast sprinter and distance runner combine this with strenght abd you will be unstoppable good luck you got talent.

  3. That's really good. Congrats. An NFL RB is around just .10 even less or longer then that.
