Is 400 watts enough to make a 10 in kicker comp vt hit?

That's the setup I was considering buying. I really like the comp vt because of it's compact size, fits under the backseat of my f150. It's RMS is 400w so that's what i was gonna put through it. Is that enough to give it a decent thump? Not competing and not trying to shatter glass, just want more bass in my system.

  1. I am also putting two of these into my chevy colorado crew cab. The CVT10 either 2 or 4 ohms will both RMS at 400 watts. This is the purfect amount of wattage that you will want to push to the subwoofer. If you haven't already, make sure that you get a mono amp because that will intensify the bass even more.

  2. yes that is just fine it will give the bass you are looking for

  3. Yes that is the perfect match. The VT is 400 rms so that's what you want.
