Is 45 degrees to cold for shorts?

Question

I'm going to be in Orlando,FL on Monday. It's supposed to be 45 on Monday night. What should I wear? Is it too cold for shorts?

Hi, I live in Texas & I wear shorts in the house all year round. If it is colder than 58 degrees I wear pants.I'm in my 50's now. When I was 49 & younger I wore shorts unless it was 40 or lower. It all depends on how you are adjusted to the weather in your area. I went to Colorado in May one year & the natives there had on shorts, knee socks & boots. My sister & I had on long pants,long sleve shirts, thermal underwear,hats, coats & thermal socks with boots. See, it all depends on what you get used to.

That's 7 degree Celsius I think.

It's not really too cold. I see people who do sports walking in the street or riding a bike wear shorts when it's a good deal colder than that.

I wore shorts (cord shorts with knee socks) at boarding school 11-13 and unless it was freezing or below it was okay.

I think it's borderline really. If you wear shorts regularly it should be okay. Wearing knee socks eg tube socks or soccer socks may help.

if it's 45C, you'd be crazy if you were not wearing shorts. 45F, if you don't know yet, just go sit in your fridge for a while in shorts. you'll know after about 2 hours

Depends on where you are from . But  based on my experience in Florida 45 is too cold to wear shorts.

I live in Michigan and it is too cold for me
