The average height for a fully grown woman is roughly 5'5, although some statistics vary from 5'4 - 5'6.

5'3 in my opinion is not that short. I'm 5'4 and my friends are 5'2 or lower.

no alot of my friends are around that height...but then I am 5'8 maybe 5'9 so i guess everybody is shorter than me O_o

No way.  I'm sure I read that 5'4 or 5'5 was the average height of a female.

I think so, if you are Caucasian or African American.. maybe not so much if you were of Chinese or Japanese origin...

your only 17 though.. your could shoot up before you stop growing in height..

you are taller than Kylie Minogue and you can get nice jeans that actually fit (I am tall and its a nightmare).

My wife is just coming up to 60 and she is only 5ft and a scratch. age for adults bears relation to height.

Height depends on a no of factors including genetics, if you have tall parents the likely hood is your going to be tall but if they are short the likely hood is your going to be short
