    I'm 5'6 and run a time of 11.5, so 5'8 is certainly not to short.

  5. You're not too short.. Most elite sprinters are in the 5'9" to 6'0" range. Tyson g*y & Walter Dix are both only 5'9" and they finished 1st & 2nd at the Olympic trials in the 100M.

    Trindon Holliday (LSU) has run 10.05 in the 100M this year and he's only 5'5".
