  1. When I always pack for a vacation I planed at least two weeks ahead. You should always pack for comfort. As a women or girl you should always be prepared for the worst. You should carry lots of sun block, comfort sneakers, medicine, and credit cards and cash. When I went to Disney make sure you prepare for hot weather at this time of  the year. When you go to Disney World you probably will not have time to take in every attraction, ride, and show.  Here are some suggestions of where I went at Disney World and you may enjoy:

    Disney's Magic Kingdom

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – This is a fun roller coaster.  It’s not especially scary so the more adventurous kids will really like it.

Peter Pan –classic ride that has a true Disney magical feel

Philharmagic – Very fun 3d show with lots of traditional Disney characters.

Space Mountain – A dark and fast coaster.  A little bit scarier than Big Thunder so it may not be right for the young ones. Classic Disney World.

Cinderellabration – Great for kids, especially the girls who like Disney princesses.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom

Lion King Show – The number 1 must see at this park.  Great show for all.  Based on the Disney movie Lion King.

Killimanjaro Safari – The other must see.  Ride in a jeap like a real safari. You get to see real animals and chase some poachers.  Good for all (maybe a little scary, but not too bad).

Primeval Whirl – A very different but fun coaster.  Not too scary for the kids.  If they are tall enough, they will probably like it.

    Disney's MGM Studios

Tower of Terror – Very scary, but very fun.

Rock n’ Roll roller coaster – Same thing.  Fast, scary, fun coaster, but not for the little kids.  May be the best roller coaster at Disney World.

Fantasmic – Crowded and you need to get there early, but worth it.  One of the best shows at all Disney World.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast – Very well Disney done show.  Good for all.

Playhouse Disney – fun for kids.

Voyage of the little Mermaid – Different show/ride.  Hard to describe, but it has that special Disney magic.  Good for all (one scary part).

    Disney's Epcot

Epcot is a great place to see fireworks and eat dinner.

Disney's Mission Space – Fun.  Can be scary for the kids so be careful.

Test Track – Fun.  Very different ride for Disney.  Can be a little scary, but some kids will like it.

    Enjoy!!!!

  2. nah, the earlier you pack, the more you don't forget what you need

  3. 5 days is a little too soon in my opinion because you want to make sure you aren't forgetting anything.  Chances are what you pack now will have to be gone through again to check what is in the luggage, what isn't and what needs to be.  I have a list of a few things I bring with when we go to WDW everytime.  Although, we stay in the campground, so my needs may be a little different.

    1) gallons of drinking water to refill bottles.  gallons in WDW are like $3, and they will allow you to bring in your own water, so I recommend doing that if possible.  Their prices aren't cheap

    2) single serve kool-aid packs to mix in with their water in the parks in your water bottles.  Their fountain water isn't good, so the kool-aid packs help kill the bad taste, and you save from having to buy water, pop etc all day

    3) a radio (like I said we stay in the campground, so we bring a radio to know what's going on in the real world, but the hotels all have tv's)

    4) camera accessories and batteries - they are expensive in WDW... I think $8 for 4 AA batteries '07

you can check out allears.net for other hints and tips as well as menus, restaurant prices and anything else you can desire to know about the parks.  Have fun!

  4. I would say it depends on how if you have enough outfits to wear before you leave. And I would just pack clothes unless your buying an extra tooth brush just for the trip and other bathroom items. Congrats tho on going to floride I leave in 55 days!!! I would definatly pack at lease 2 days in advance gives you time to realize what you have forgotten. Oh and make a list of what you have packed.

  5. Not if it makes you feel comfortable.  I travel all the time, I like to pack the night before.  My wife doesn't, she likes to pack at least a day ahead of time.  I would pack whenever you can feel most comfortable and so that you can be sure you have everything you need (that being said, remember, there are stores near Disney just in case you forget anything).

  6. Are you kidding. No!

I've been planning a trip for next summer for 2 years!!! (ya, wierd!) I'm got some clothes in my luggage already!

But no, it's not too soon to pack.

    Have fun and enjoy!

    :]
