  1. No that's normal. My friend just got out of the hospital and hers was 38, which is very low. I'm not exaggerating, I saw it on the heart moniter. It went so low that the doctors came rushing in to make sure she was still alive.

  2. Around 60, 70. 90s when your physcially active.

  3. Some athletes , that are in really good shape and have excellent pumping power of their heart , have a heart rate as slow as 35 .

Its not how slow you heart beats , but how much blood is pumped with each beat . Your heart is a muscle , and if it is developed , it can pump more blood with each stoke , and does not need to pump faster than other people .

Usually 60 to  100 is normal , but if you are in good shape , less is also normal .

It's only a problem if your are having symptoms , of a low heart rate , like , fainting or dizziness , or low blood pressure .

  4. heart beat varies with age and most of all with recent activity.

For more consistent results measure in the morning before you  have become active (if you have a wrist meter) if a nurse or medic is taking your pulse just the act of having your pulse taken can cause it to be higher (the "white coat" syndrome) 52 is not high  it is a little low for you age if you have been resting for a while but not exceptionally low

To get an idea of your heart rate have it checked several times and take an average.  Heart rate can vary widely in just a few minutes.

  5. if you are an athletic person, then yes, it's normal

  6. The doctor didn't send you to the hospital?   Very low.

  7. i'm 22f too and mine's 57 when i lie in bed...and i'm not in any way athletic.

if you're not an athlete, it is low, but not necessarily a problem. if you're experiencing dizziness or breathlessness or anything like that you might wanna get it checked out. 60-80 is normal (~75 for a female your age) but heart rates on average are determined largely by your genetic make up. sometimes people just have slow pulses.

I think people often don't experience any symptoms of bradycardia until they get below 50bpm.

  8. Normal is 72.  Yes 52 is low but if you are in very good health it could be OK.  If you are not feeling OK or have any symptoms go to the ER or at least call a pharmacist.

  9. If your a physically active person your heart rate will lower than other people like in the 50's or 60's. If you don't do much physical activity your heart rate will be around the 70's or low 80's.  If your heart rate gets below 50 make sure you contact a doctor because that's not a good thing.

  10. Normal heart rate for an adult at rest is 60-80 beats per minute.

  11. no.

if i am not mistaken its somewhere like 75 to 90 that is normal.

  12. This shows you are in great shape and is far lower than most people.  It seems obvious you must do a lot of cardio but not just walking on the treadmill, but some interval training where you really push yourself (unless you just naturally have a low heart beat, which is rare).  Most in shape people in their 20's shoot for high 50s.  Keep it up!

  13. Well if you are a athlete it is  normal, otherwise at this heart rate you will be facing symptoms like vertigo, faintness. Even if not see your doctor.

  14. there is no normal, but if you are in good shape, as noted above, you will have a lower resting pulse. Mine is 50

  15. if you do lots of cardio thats normal .......... mine is down to 52 now it used to be 72 and athletes are even lower  check it out those who dont believe it

  16. Not if you are active.. a normal HR is 60-100 bu some people may be perfectly fine with a lower HR. 52 is fine.. nothing to be concerned about until you get into the 40's...

  17. The normal resting adult heart beats regularly at an average rate of 60-100 times per minute.

  18. If you went such a cute young thing I would be jealous, you have a athletes hart (that's a great thing)
