Is $ 5300 a good price to buy this Nissan Sentra 2004 ? Please advise me.?

2004 nissan sentra S-type(clean title) with only 31,800 original miles and it comes with rims and new tires, all electronics are working, A/c system is in good condition..owner is offering this car for for $5300, this How much price I should offer after checking the record of the vehicle and a test drive etc. This car have the following cosmetic problems: paint on hood and roof slightly faded, rear bumper is not painted ( rear bumber was changed due to slight damage from backing up) There is a blunt dent on left front fender..

You'd want a Car fax on the car. That will explain that Bumper problem. You don't replace a bumper for just slight backing up problem. Usually you have to be rear ended by another vehicle for the Bumper to be worth replacing.

Take that car to a good mechanic. If he gives a clean chit and the carfax is clear then go for it. Or else walk away.

theyre is no such thing as a sentra S type, i think you mean sentra SE or sentra se-r

this car is not a clean title, they may say it had slight damage from backing up but the person selling it to you could be lying. the price is too low for this car with such low mileage it should be around 8500- 10000.. the reason why they are selling it so cheap is because its been in an accident theyre for its a salvage title. problem with salvage title cars is they can give u a lot of problems in the future its not worth buying. if i was you i would not buy this car trust me keep looking around  you will find something better

It sounds like 1. this person didn't take care of their car at all and 2. It's seems a little on the cheap side for that few miles and that recent a model. I would stay away because this person couldn't even keep the paint from fading in 4 years, so I doubt that's the only issue with the car.
