Is 540 calories in one meal too much?

I am shooting for 1950 calories per day.

  1. Yup.  Your body gets confused with much over 400-500 calories at a sitting and will store the remainder.

    If you're shooting for 2000 calories per day, eat 400 calories ever 3 hrs (5x per day) or 325-350 every 2 hrs (6x per day)


  2. its not so much if its a lot for 1 meal but if those are good or bad calories. for example if you eat a Big Mac from mcdonalds and its 540 calories lets say, that is far worse than eating a meal of grilled chicken and roasted vegetables that  equals 540 calories. the healthier foods you eat the healthier your body will be and the better it will run. this will make it easier for you if youre trying to lose weight or even gain weight.
