  1. it depends on the city/ the agency your applying at.

ford models in cali and NY , you have to be  6 ft just for them to see you

but there are print and runway model that are 5'10 in Miami and Europe.

  2. The best height for a male model is supposed to be between 5'11" and 6'1", but i don't think one inch really matters all that much. However, it all depends on how your body is proportioned. you should have a long torso and legs.

  3. yes

  4. Not necessarily....you could probably do print, just not runway.

2 good friends of mine did male modeling. One was shorter, 5'10. He did lots of advertisements and magazine related things. The other was really tall, 6'4 and did shows.

  5. No certainly not.  I've known two male models (when we lived in NYC) neither of them was more than 5'6" -- it depends on the type of modeling you are doing, but 5'10" is certainly tall enough for any type of modeling.

    Kind thoughts,

  6. I am afraid that that is 3"to short.

    Planets.

  7. Not too short at all.....no model is the same.  Go for it and see if you can make your mark!  I wish I'd tried this.....modeling that is......

    Good luck to you!

  8. It's not about your height it's about how well your body is proporsioned.
