  1. Sacking Brian Ashton is a mistake, he is rebuilding, they've lost a lot of the old guard and leaders, hope he stays even though his decision to drop Cipriano last week was a mistake in hindsight.

Being a non-rugby head i have to ask why there is so little time between matches in the 6 nations while the World Cup seemed to run for an eternity

  2. I thought that the autumn tests were the time to 'rebuild'.

  3. Damians hit the nail squarely on the head.

A well managed team has a "succession programme" ala the Crusaders who set the standard in NZ

Hardcase  ; after watching some  England games the only positive comment I could make was that the team was re-building.

That means they are either badly managed , or is that the way they chose to play the game. ....S***e.

    But yeah

A team with good depth / succession has an advantage in a tournament situation.

  4. Rebuilding ? What a nonsense.

You don't rebuild a national team. You just select it and coach it to win.

There is more than enough young English talent to replace the old more than adequately.

France put three different teams on the paddock!

Wales went from an *** kicking to victory, in the space of five months because they had the vision to change their leadership on the pitch, and their coaching team to make the talent they have perform - helped that they were basically the same club team from the get go.

Rebuilding at a national level is now a thing of the past - in the modern professional era - the talent should be stacked up ready to jump in and fill a gap.

  5. What is so frustrating is that England can beat France one week and loose, direly, to Scotland the next. Clearly the ability is there so the problem must be either motivational, organisational or tactical. Whichever one it is, or all three, it comes down to bad management. I think Ashton has to go; but who will replace him?

  6. sorry boy thats not a valid excuse

    we dont recall drug dealers
