Is 60 degrees too cold to go swimming in?

9Me and my family want to go tubing in New Braunsfel Tx and it is a 3 hour drive from Houston. They say the water temperature is at 60 degrees, there is a high of 90, and 30% chance of rain... should we still go?????? WE REALLY WANT O AND HAVE BEEN PLANNING FOR A LONG TIME. what do you think?

I do open water swimming but I wear a vest and water socks.  60 degrees is cold but not unbearable.  It is warming up your core temperature afterward that can be the problem.  It may take at least an hour.
