  1. A PoP (Probability of Precipitation) is based on statistics. It means that forecasters think that if you took 100 days like tomorrow, it will rain on 60 of them. So it's up to you... do you think you'll be in one of the 60 or one of the 40?

  2. Flip a coin heads it rains tails its sunny

  3. it means the atmosphere has a 60 percent of producing showers and thunderstorms its a high chance for rain but it doesnt mean its goin to rain..... it usually rains wen u have a 60% p.o.p and it doesnt mean its goin to rain all day

  4. According to the National Weather Service, 60% P.O.P. also means a likely chance of precipitation.

So yes, prepare for rain at some point of the day.

  5. In the long run, if the forecast system is "reliable", it will be correct 60% of the time.

    Be prepared for rain.

  6. That means that there is a greater than half chance it is going to rain.

Usually it will rain even if the forecaster say there is only a 40% chance.

You can go out but I will tell you most likely going to rain. Just bring an umbrella

  7. I think you should take a little risk and must go out.
