  1. Will it cover your living expenses?

If your income exceeds your outgo then your upkeep will be your downfall.

  2. i couldnt make it on 600 a week

  3. No  minimum wage is  close to ten dollars an hour i am on old age pension and make more

  4. no its not

  5. Way below the proverty line.

  6. Even if you had your room and board covered that would still be considered low.

  7. No.  That is terrible pay for full time employment - 40 hour wqrk week.  The average minimum wage is $8.50 an hour so if you are working for minimum your salary should be closer to $1400.00 a month.

  8. No. It's very poor and is considered the absolute minimum one person could get by on. That's more or less what a single person would get with social assistance payments, the actual amount varies by province. In BC at least, that person is assumed to spend $325 or so of that for shelter which will buy you a single room where you can't cook and you share a bathroom down the hall, leaving around $200 for everything else--food, bus fare, clothes. And it doesn't quite cover that unless you are very resourceful.

  9. No, not at all and it is below the minimum pay standard if you are referring to a 40 hours work week.  40 hours a week X 4 weeks is 160 hours.  $600/160 = $3.75 hr which is way too low.  $600.00 a week is good that would be $15.00 an hour.

  10. 600 a week you could get by but not at 600 a month
