  1. It all depends on all the variable's... to which you've run against wind, on a turf track, grass or on a sand like track which  train on (it is rubbish cuz theres no grip even with spikes) are you tall, how much do you wiegh are you male or female. improve your speed through 200m sprints this will build your speed and do 60m sprints for acceleration and for 400m fitness do 500-600m sprints.

well your time  i'm focusing on 100m and 200m and getting very good at 60m (i'm turning 17) at he end of this year) when i was 15-16 i still was training for 100-200m but competed during school sports day (athletics) and came first with a time of 56.74 seconds and won both 100, 200 and came second in shotput! and i'm apart of the national youth team of malawi-centeal africa. there is a guy here whom is about the same age as me who Only does 400m and his best is 51.44 and he competed in ukraine (world youth championships) and came 8th- he wasn't used to the track-turf.

what i'm sawing is don'tlisten to any one who says speed is genetic thats rubbish it's how you train and your technique! like micheal johnson 43.18 is his world record for 400m he said with his training his body started to adapt and change to be faster and that his body cold cope more with the race.

when you hit puberty remeber this your time will drop by a lot like mine did the next few years from now your time will drop by alot just don't do drugs (streroids or anything like that it's bad)

and also you should start to use protien shakes. they shoul be used about 20-30 minutes after the end of training. it will help your muscles grow, be more prepered for the next training session. another thhing that will help yo u both in becoming the best and even at school (boost memory by alot) is creatine- helps build muscles and improves endurance (only use when you get to about 14-16)

another thing that could improve your time by alot is spikes (use/buy nike ones that fit perfectly (almost tightly) and tights- tank top-muscle shirt and the shorts. less wind resistant and it doesn't pull your legs when running.

keep training- hope to c u brek the world record!!!

and remember if you train slowly than you'll be slow (muscles remember and this makes them slower or faster) SO TRAIN HARD AND FAST or you'll end up like the many you are averge becuase there teacher taught them wrong.

I'd also advise you to get a couch for a few weaks to work on your technique becuase if you train with the wrong technque than it will be hard to get used to running with the right technique and this will be a waste of time becuase the years from now until your 18 count the most. "practise makes perminant" AND ALSO PERFECT " if it's DONE RIGHT

    good luck

  2. thats very good, keep it up...keep training!

  3. just keep practising.

im 12 too, only good at 100m.

65secs sounds good enough to mee (:

  4. A minute and five seconds is quite good at your age - I'm assuming you don't have a great deal of technique, and your body has a great deal of developing yet, so in time you will run much faster, but for now, that is a fine time for your age group. You ought to visit YouTube and have a look at some 400m video, it'll help you get under a minute.

  5. Really Good, youll get better

  6. It is excellent!

  7. It's not bad, if you keep on, you'll be better.

  8. it's very good. I ran 300 m in 46 s (but i'm a 14 years old).
