  1. if you're not taking chemistry class again next year, then you'll probably forget some of teh material over teh summer and do worse next time you take it. but your score is pretty good. usually anything over 600 is really good. I took IB chem, and got a 680. i wanted at least a 700, but IB and AP stuff is different. But i'm not taking it again because october so a long time away and it'll taek a lot of studying to remember everything.

  2. i got a 740 on the chemistry sat that i took in june.. i felt really prepared and all but didnt do as well as i hoped. i think you should wait until the score report is mailed home because that has the percentile on it that shows how well you did in comparison with other students.

  3. It depends on what your definition of "good" is. Generally, anything over 600 is pretty good, anything over 700 is great because I believe it is out of 800. It really depends though on if you believe you can score higher(were you at your best frame of mind when you took it, would studying more help), and also if a 650 score is high enough to get you into the college of your choice. Regardless of your score, as a general rule, if you think you can score considerably higher(15+ points) i'd say do it if you have then time and the money.

  4. i mean, i guess retake it, i am.

    i got a 630.

i'd only had honors chemistry, not AP, and the class wasn't done yet when i took the test in june.  we learned equilibrium and acids/bases the next week in school.  i'd left all those questions blank on the test.

but i guess it depends on the school.

still, i think these tests are supposed to show the subjects you've "mastered" and some people get 800's on all of them.  :\

i dunno, your choice.  probably no harm in retaking them.
