  1. The SI for that year only had the SOHC D16Z6 motor. 125 HP. You can find the 1999-2000 Civic SI's with the DOHC VTEC, 160 HP for less or close to that price. It nearly has 200,000 miles. Do you REALLY have to ask this question? Are you sure its not a 2003? You can find 1993 models ALL DAY LONG for $2000.

  2. there are many factors involved but it mainly depends on the mileage.

  3. am selling a 2000 civic si with 70k miles on it clean title extra clean fo 4500$

    6500$ is fu**** insane

  4. You can always bargain the price act like you don't want the car or it isn't what you are looking for. As for the price is engine OK, mileage low that also determine price.

  5. Too much, you can get a 2000+ model for that price.

  6. INSANE. TOO MUCH. look on ebay.

  7. That dealer is ripping you off. They car is worth $2500 at the most. go on craigslist.org and look for a private seller. Those cars are common so Im sure you can find one quickly. Also prelude Si's are a common car and they are quick cars like the civic Si.

  8. Way too much.

I checked the Blue Book value for that car, and in "Good" condition, that should be about $2,300.

    You can check it out:

I used a New York zip code.  I'm not sure where you live.  I doubt using another zip code is going to add $4,000 to the price tag, though.

You might want to print out that Blue Book page and show it to the dealer.  Maybe get him to bring down the price to a reasonable amount.
