Is 70 buck's Aussie too much for a 12gig Internet connection?

I'm just interested in other countries and how our remoteness from the bulk of society in Australia, (the best country in the world i might add) effects how much we get screwed by telephonic money-grabbing scum company's.

  1. In the usa its a free for all... data isn't really capped so long as its broadband...aside from a 250 gb cap from one evil company called comcast.

    40-200$ a month for a 5mb-50mb connection over stateside atm.

  3. Im on Optus and we get ADSL2+ @ 60 gb per month for $80

    U r paying too much.

  4. I'm in Aus and i'm paying $80 for 36GB (12 peak, 24 off peak). I think i'm getting rorted.

  5. YESS!!! im on a 60 gig a month plan with optus...its called power user and it costs me like 80 buks a month...so do the maths....

    also im really happy with my internet...i dont get the impression that im getting ripped that much...then again i dont know any better do i...
