This tank has 36" hi glo lights, 24" hi glo lights, rena xp3 canister filter, 300 watt heater. Also a uv sterilizer that is still in the box. It was all bought new in May. And is being sold with the tank.

  1. 300 watts heater, you must be rich lol. Electricity will cost more than $750 per year.

$750 is not a good price for 65 gal tank, If its made of acrylic then it should cost around $350, and cannot use heater or the tank will melt.

If it is made of glass, it should cost less than $120.

  2. Seriously dude, check around before you spend that kind of money. It doesn't sound like a very good deal to me personally. I went to a goodwill and got my fishtank for 100 bucks, and it is 55 gallons and has a nice wooden stand, lights, heater, and filtration!!

Try checking goodwills, newspapers, thrifty nickels, and some pet stores sell used tanks for fairly cheap! Look around so that you can make the best possible decision and get the biggest bang for your buck!

  3. Don't listen to Jeff. A 300watt heater you will barely notice on your hydro bill. Price out all the items yourself. The xp3 filter is 150-250, the lights 200 atleast. It sounds like the guy is asking retail for his stuff, he wants the moeny back that he spent. You can find used stuff cheaper than this. Checkout kijiji.com and craigslist.com

  4. no   200

  5. With the sterilizer you still should not be paying more than $400 for all.

Walmart has a 55 gallon for 125 the sterilizer is around 200 lights you can get on ebay cheap and the filter comes with the tank.

  6. It's really a very bad price, cause I've seen 55 sets with heaters and all the works for $180. You can easily get a 65 set for around $250, maybe even less.
