  1. Even 80 is ok but supplement your cooling by using a fan in conjunction. Working together, you'll feel like you set the thermostat to 76. Also expose as much skin as possible. This will maximize the cooling effect of the fan due to increased evaporation of your perspiration.

  2. If your reasonably comfortable at 79 degrees it may be a good plan. If your having difficulty affording the air conditioning, turn it off. Put a window fan in your bed room, let it blow over your feet, so you can get some sleep at night.

  3. thats what i had mine at it was 100.00 lil over so i closed curtains and up it to 80 turn it on before 1100 wear i live gets hot so a/c dont have to work hard if it gets hotter than that, it will use more electricity and unplug toasters, radios, lamps etc that not in use dailey thats also a small waste that adds up.1195 sq. ft home mine

  4. I suggest to you that if you fell comfortable with 79, fine,if you are comfotable with 89,fine too. the choice is yours, whatever you can live with

  5. Yes and you can also unplug anything you do not really use all the time! Also get door and window foam tape (at any hardware store ) to seal up those areas! and a spray sealent to fill holes around the sink etc pipes that come up to your faucets etc through the bottom of your cabinets!
