  1. My husband and I are 8 years apart. Of course, you have to remember that you guys will have different points of reference. For instance, he was going into the military when I was going into fifth grade. We have differences in our music references and what was going on during our teenage years. But, overall, 8 years is really nothing. Good luck and love, Rail

  2. I dont think thats perverted, but I've been with men 23 years older than me....I know I know, thats a lot.  But if you survey a lot of couples, I think you'll find that 8 years is nothing to be ashamed of.

  3. nope, your'e good to go

  4. nah its fine.  I would be weird if you were under 18, but I think its OK.

  5. Not at all.  You are both legal, so you are allowed to have any kind of relationship you want.  And over time, the 8 years are going to make less and less of a difference.  Remember, famous actor Tony Randall married a woman 50 years his junior, and James Doohan (Scotty on Star Trek), married a woman 36 years his junior.

I dated a woman 12 years older than me for about 2 years, and nobody gave it a second thought.  They won't for you, either...you're both going to look about the same age most of the time, so no need to worry.

  6. It is perverted if you were 8 and he was 16.  As long as you are at the age 18 and above it is your consent to go out with men older than you.  I do wish you the best by the way in your relationship.

  7. no. it's a perfect example of true love. ^_^

  8. nah, for my aunt and uncle, it's 20!

  9. eight years is nothing to worry about.  be happy.
