Well I would not call it overbearing, having been in Australia, and sampled their weather. We could do with a bit of that in England after having had disastrous Summer.Its been more like Winter here on some days, and the rain which has been never  ending.

If you mean Fahrenheit, it is warm.  Room temperature is around 70 - 72 degrees (about 21 Celsius).  The human body temperature is about 98 - 99 degrees.  Water freezes at 32.

If you mean 83 to 85 degrees, then it depends.  That would be cold for coffee, or way past melting for ice cream.  It would be pleasant for lounging around the swimming pool, but hot for ditch digging.
