Is 8:30am to early to get my wedding hair done for a 3:00 ceremony, and reception that lasts till midnight?

I would go around noon if possible.  8:30 is REALLY early to have it done if the ceremony is that late.  You'd probably need some of the curls touched up before you get to the ceremony.

No, I got mine done around 9, with timeline similar to yours. The salon knows which products to use to make the 'do last!

good question!! I actually got my hair done at 8:30am and my ceremony wasn't until 4:30pm and my hair was fine. There is too much to get done and sometimes it's nice to get the hair out of the way so you can focus on other things!! Just use LOTS of hairspray and do a quick spray before leaving for the ceremony!! :) congrats!!

Its not too early! Time is going to go by fast!

I know one person who got their Hair done earlier then that, they had the stylist on had for touch up tho!

It all depends on how many other bridesmaids / mother of the bride / flower girls that need to get their hair done as well.  If you have a few then you will be starting pretty early to get through everyone.

I would have said mid-morning for the bride's hair.  I am getting married at 2:30pm and my hair will be done around 9-10am.

I think it is a little too early. Ask how long the hair is going to take, and then plan an hour after that for dressing and pictures, and driving time. You don't want your curls to fall out and look messy. Good luck and congrats!

WAY TO EARLY FOR THE HAIR DO AT 8:30AM IF IT'S LASTING UNTIL MIDNIGHT! NOT UNLESS YOUR HAIR HOLDS CURLS WELL AND YOU HAVE A TON OF HAIRSPRAY ON THE SCENE! I WOULD WAIT AND GET IT DONE PROBABLY ABOUT 10-11AM IF I WERE YOU!

i think it's too early. i got married around the same time and i got my hair done at 11:00 or 11:30am.but if your hair takes well to curls than yes go with 8:30am
