  1. Yes, that should be more than enough money to buy all that you need!

  2. A parakeet is about $20

A cage is around $40(it should come with food bowls)

    (thats $60)

A bag of food is like $5 at most

Millet and a Cuttle Bone is around $5

    (thats $70)

Then you can use the rest for toys and tax.

So the answer is YES!!!!!! = )

Also::: I got my parakeet at Pet City at the mall where I live and so far its been great!!! I'm guessing its a bit like the Pet Land where you live. Good luck!

  3. It really depends.  If you get a parakeet that's already trained it'll be $110-115.  Also the cage depends.  If you get a bigger one with more quality then it'll be expensive.  Plus you need to get at least 2-3 toys and food and perches and a cuttle bone.  I have a cockatiel and I paid like $350 for everything my bird needed.

    I hope this helped!

  4. It may be.  A budgie normally runs around $20, and you can get a cage for around $40.  (make sure it is big enough)  Small toys and some food will cost some.  You may need around another $15.  The cage and toys are very important.  Make sure the bird has lots of room, and has plenty of toys. (don't make the cage crowded with them though)  Get some pellets for small hook bills.  No seeds.  Pellets are a much better, and healthier diet than seeds. When you get your bird home, put it in the cage and let it in there for about 7 days.  Don't try to hold her or anything yet. Just sit near her and talk to her.  She will take time to destress and get used to her new surroundings.  After about a week, then start to handle her.  Please read my profile.
