Is 88 Seoul Olympic most successful olympic?

Seoul was very good and special.  It was the first olympic games after 12 years that had all of the top nations competing after years of boycott.  I wouldn't say that they were the best though.  I think Barcelona in '92 was even better.  2004 and 2008 were also good.  1996 and 2000 not so much.

No, these Beijing Olympics are considered to be the best ever, as has each previous Olympic Games. Following the Seoul Olympics, they were considered the best ever then Barcelona, Atlanta (or maybe not, because of the bomb) then Sydney, and so on.

Each one tries to better the previous one's opening and closing ceremonies, it is getting ridiculous !!
